Taos is perfect for a tranquil and inspiring getaway with friends, family, or with your significant other. From the art scene to the stunning nature, there is a certain magic in Taos that will always stay with you.
🧳 Plan to spend at least 3-4 days in Taos as there is so much to do, see and soak up.

✈️ Best way to get to Taos? Fly in/out of Albuquerque airport.
🚗 Plan to rent a car at the airport and then drive 2 hours to Taos. A gorgeous drive!
🏠 Want to experience Taos like a local? I recommend renting a house through Airbnb.

🥾 Get up early and hike along the Rio Grande Gorge (don’t forget to bring your camera). If you go early enough, you will likely see many bighorn sheep along the trail! 🐏

🧖🏽 Drive 45 minutes out of town and spend the day at the incredible Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa. Soak in the numerous mineral pools and let your cares slip away into pure bliss.

👽 You can’t miss visiting the unique community of Earthship Biotecture just outside of town. A true sustainable way to live and fascinating to see!

📍Be sure not to miss visiting the Taos Pueblo.
🖼️ Taos is an artist’s community so a trip to Taos isn’t complete without visiting the museums. I particularly enjoyed the Harwood Museum of Art – what an incredible collection of art!

🛍️ There are many unique shops and boutiques downtown that you could spend an entire afternoon pursuing. Be sure to stop by Boxie Tees and say “Hi!” to the owner Tracy!

🍽️ Of course, you can’t forget about the delicious food in Taos! My two favorite spots were:

Most importantly, just enjoy slowing down and enjoying the pure magic of beautiful Taos, New Mexico. ✨
